COVID PRECAUTIONS

We hope you have a wonderful and relaxing stay at Bosayne and the beautiful surroundings of Tintagel. Although there are no longer any legal Covid requirments, we will continue to take precautions where practicable.

Most importantly
Please do not enter the property if you have Covid-19 symptoms or have tested positive for Covid.

Please sanitise your hands using the outside pumps in the porch before using the front door. 

Hand Washing and Sanitisers
We are all aware of the need to vigorously and regularly wash our hands with hot water and soap. Bosayne owners and staff will regularly wash their hands and will wear appropriate PPE for cleaning. 

All residents are encouraged to regularly wash their hands using hot water and soap in their rooms, particularly before leaving their rooms to enter communal areas. 

We will ensure there is a ready supply of anti-viral hand sanitiser in the property including in the front porch, and at the entrance to the breakfast room.

Arrival and Departures
Pre-arrival – To reduce unnecessary contact and use of the card machine, we will be asking for full payment for your stay to be made 48hours in advance by either BACS or by credit/debit card over the phone. 

On arrival – Please use the hand sanitiser in the entrance porch before entering. If you are vunerable or concerned about the covid risk, do phone before entering the property, and we will greet you outside if you prefer. Your room keys will already have been left in your room. 

During your stay – Please use phone/text wherever possible to contact us for any assistance during your stay. In an emergency, we can be contacted by use of an internal doorbell in the entrance hallway. 

When moving around the guest house please keep your distance from other guests. Check when leaving your room if the corridor is clear, and wait at the bottom or top of stairs to allow other guests to pass, 

On departure – Please contact us beforehand to settle any outstanding account. Otherwise, keys should be left in the bedroom and a quick call to say you have left would be great. It would help if windows were left open on your departure, subject to weather conditions! 

Cleaning and Touchpoints
We always strive to keep Bosayne clean, and undertake additional cleaning, including the use of anti-viral disinfectants. 

Communal areas/stairwells – regular cleaning and disinfecting of these areas will take place, including handrails, light switches and other touchpoints. 

Guest rooms : Are thoroughly ventilated and cleaned between each guest, to include anti-viral disinfection of all touchpoints. 

All linen and towels are professionally laundered at temperatures exceeding 60℃ in between each guest stay. 

Any disposable sachets and toiletries will be changed over with all vessels refreshed.

We undertake daily servicing of rooms. Please do let us know if you would prefer us not to enter your room during your stay, and we can leave any additional items required outside your door.

Illness
Should you become unwell during your stay, we will require you to advise us and to head back to your primary residence as soon as possible. 

If for any reason it does become necessary for you to stay here and self-isolate in your room, you will be liable for the costs of the room at our standard rates, and for an additional 72 hours after departure to allow for decontamination and deep cleaning of the room.
